Sotirios Siampanis is a Special Technician Laboratory Staff (S.T.T.L.P.) of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Technological Education Institute in Chalkida. Furthermore, he holds a Master's degree in Design and Construction of Racing Vehicle Systems from Technological Education Institute of Central Greece and a PhD from the University of Athens. He has worked as an Aircraft Structure Engineer at the Hellenic Aerospace Industry. He was trained on the upgrade of C130 aircraft at Spar Aerospace Ltd in Canada. E-mail: ssiampanis@uoa.gr
