Dr. George Rekleitis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (AST) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Patras. After completing his Master's degree in Robotics at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University in Canada, he completed his PhD in the field of Robotic Space Systems at the School of Mechanical Engineering at National Texhnicak University of Athens, Greece, a field in which he has many years of research experience, with numerous publications in international journals and conferences of recognized prestige.
His research interests include the modeling, dynamic analysis and control of robotic systems, both indoor and space, with an emphasis on nonlinear control with robustness elements, as well as the identification of robotic system parameters. He has also participated as a lead researched in numerous research programs in the field of Space Robotics, including the H2020 EROSS project or ESA's ASSIT, OBSIdian and IOANT projects"
