Studying in the Department of Aerospace Science & Technology was a pivotal milestone in both my academic and professional development. The Department not only gave me a strong scientific foundation but also inspired me to explore and understand my true interests.
One of the first experiences that sparked my fascination with the interaction between hardware and software was my time in the Laboratory of Operating Systems. At the same time, working in the Satellite Systems Design Laboratory allowed me to put theory into practice, gaining hands-on experience in designing space missions.
Today, I work as a Space Systems Engineer, contributing to CubeSat missions and participating in collaborations across the European space sector — an opportunity that first emerged through the Department's Internship Program. The Department didn’t just provide me with knowledge; it opened up a world of opportunities and gave me the confidence and tools to pursue them.
