The Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning aims at the development of knowledge, skills and competencies of individuals based on the advances of science, technology, and economy as well as the transformations new professions impose on the structure of employment. To this end, the Center develops and implements a wide range of educational and vocation training programmes. The main fields of action are the following:

• The organization, development, and provision of training, continuing vocational education, reskilling, and upskilling programs, as well as adult education, career guidance and orientation programs and in general lifelong learning programs.
• Monitoring the advances in the field of lifelong learning.
  
• Promoting adult education and training.
  
• Development of educational material.
  
• Participation in employee training programs as well as programs aimed at the structural adjustment of a company.
• Certification of qualifications taking into account the possibilities offered by the development of qualification certification systems of the outputs of non-formal and informal education and training.
• Conclusion of Programming Agreements with Regions, Municipalities, educational and professional organizations, Public Benefit Foundations as well as other public and non – governmental organizations.
  
• Organization of seminars and conferences.
